The way in which Jemima is inspired and guided by nature in her designs also carries through to the selection of materials and techniques used to create a Jemima Jasmine rug.

Our research and experimentation with sustainable materials are of the utmost importance to us with the use of banana silk in our rugs being one such example.

At Jemima Jasmine Rugs we ship globally using Fedex. Shipping times are included in production time of rug.

Once rug is ready we will follow up with Fedex tracking number to insure safe arrival of your Jemima Jasmine rug. 

  

 

Rug Care Instructions

To maintain the beauty and longevity of your handmade rug, please follow these care guidelines:

Regular Vacuuming

Vacuum your rug regularly to remove dust and prevent soil buildup. Use a vacuum cleaner with adjustable suction to avoid damaging the fibers. Avoid using powerful vacuums or power heads, as stiff bristles and strong suction can harm the pile.

Immediate Spill Response

Promptly address spills to prevent stains from setting. Blot liquids with a dry, absorbent white cloth or paper towel—do not rub. For stubborn stains, consult a professional cleaner. Avoid machine washing your rug.

Sunlight Exposure

Limit direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading. Rotate your rug periodically to ensure even wear and color retention.

Furniture Considerations

Heavy furniture can flatten the pile and distort the rug's shape. Use furniture pads and avoid dragging items across the rug.

Professional Cleaning

Have your rug professionally cleaned every 6-12 months to preserve its appearance. Ensure the cleaning service uses appropriate methods for your rug's material.

Terms and Conditions

Order Details

This order pertains to the production of one bespoke rug, custom-made to order based on the specifications agreed upon and the approved CAD designs.

Payment Terms

A 100% payment is required to confirm the order. All payments are non-refundable once production begins.

Lead Time

The estimated lead time for production is 7 weeks (+/- 5 days) from the date the payment is received. Any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances will be communicated promptly.

Delivery Terms

Delivery will be made to the ground floor only, and offloading is the responsibility of the consignee.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the bespoke nature of this order, cancellations are not permitted once production has commenced.

Size & Color Tolerance

As each rug is handcrafted, slight variations in size and color are inherent to the process. A size variation of up to 2% in width and 4% in length is considered standard and acceptable. Additionally, due to the unique dyeing process and natural fibers used, color variations may occur, which are typical for handmade rugs. 

These natural variations contribute to the distinctive character and charm of each rug.

By proceeding with the order, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined above.
